We Need to Stand Up, as a Country, to Terror and Genocide
O’Neill’s Galvanizing Words to the Nation: Look in the Mirror and “Fix Yourself” to Make America Stronger.
Recapped by FOX News anchor Sean Hannity, a British ISIS sympathizer recently published what was thought to be addresses associated with O’Neill online. What’s it like to be personally targeted by ISIS? Rob O’Neill sits down with Hannity to discuss his thoughts on how all Americans, serving or not, need to be vigilant.
Hannity: “I’m sorry you and your family have to go through this. I hope our government is putting in place measures to help you. What can you tell us about it?”
O’Neill: “I’ve been ready for this since we killed Osama bin Laden. My name was leaked shortly thereafter. I have stuff in place. I think it should be a call to every service member and law enforcement first responder. They’re actually all targets. Everyone needs to be more vigilant. People in the government, the FBI are helping me out trying to track them, and I know how to defend myself.”
Hannity: “You’re confident, you have faith that the government is doing their part to protect you and assist you. They’re not leaving you on your own?”
O’Neill: “I’m confident. I’ve talked to a lot of federal (FBI) and local law enforcement and they are putting stuff in place to assist, yes.”
O’Neill: “As we look at the world situation. Things are changing really rapidly. The latest development…Russia is literally targeting the rebels we have been arming to topple Assad. They say that they’re targeting ISIS but they’re not. What is your reaction to that?”
O’Neill: “Russia’s inserting themselves because that part of the world needs leadership. Normally, it would be the United States. We should be leading. We’re not. Russia wants Assad to stay there. He’s a puppet for the Russians. He (Putin) realizes if he targets rebels or so-called moderate rebels and wipes them out, there will just be ISIS left against Assad and we can’t do anything other than want to fight ISIS, too.”
Hannity: “When you hear cities like Ramadi and Fallujah, Tikrit and Mosul are toppled by ISIS. I mean blood, sweat, tears, financial sacrifice, sacrifice of your fellow soldiers. You see that we pulled out early and didn’t finish the job. All these men died and so many were injured. What are your thoughts?”
O’Neill: “I fought in Ramadi and I fought in Fallujah. I know people that died there. I know how hard those battles were. It’s a shame that we just let them go because right now as a nation, just due to a lot of political correctness, we’re becoming a weak nation. I would ask every American to seriously look at yourself in the mirror and say ‘fix yourself.’ We need to stand up as a country and defend the planet. There’s genocide going on over there and we’re really doing nothing about it.”
