About Robert J. O’Neill || From Special Operations to global stages turning hard missions into leadership lessons.

Robert J. O’Neill is one of America’s most decorated Navy SEALs, with over 400 combat missions spanning four global theaters. As a senior operator with SEAL Team 6, he executed some of the most intense and consequential missions in modern military history, from the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips to the operation that eliminated Osama bin Laden.

Over nearly 16 years of distinguished service, Rob has operated in Liberia, the Balkans, the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and more.

He holds elite qualifications such as Military Free Fall Jumpmaster, Scout Sniper, Breacher, Master Naval Parachutist, and more.

Rob has led and participated in missions that shaped his career and legacy. He was the lead jumper during the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates. He participated in Operation Red Wings also known as the Lone Survivor mission. He served as a Team Leader in Operation Neptunes Spear the raid on bin Ladens compound. These missions in extreme environments developed his ability to hold teams together, under stress: Lessons he now brings to business and leadership settings.
Rob now channels the same discipline, clarity, trust, and resilience from his SEAL Team years onto stages, into boardrooms, and media. As a speaker, consultant, and mentor, he delivers actionable leadership frameworks, high-stakes decision approaches, tools for stress performance, and culture and team trust principles.
He is also dedicated to serving veterans. As co-founder of the Special Operators Transition Foundation, Rob supports special operations veterans in building stability, purpose, and successful civilian careers.

Today he is a New York Times bestselling author of The Operator, keynote speaker, media personality, and host of The Operator Podcast. Featured on Fox News, CNN, NBC, CBS NEWSMAX and major outlets worldwide, he continues to bring clarity, resilience, and the never quit mindset to audiences everywhere.
