1. Who we are

This website (robertjoneill.com) is operated on behalf of Robert J. O'Neill ("we", "us", "our"). It promotes Rob's keynote speaking, The Operators Collective, and related projects such as his book, podcast and apparel. For any privacy questions, contact ari@theoperatorscollective.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, primarily via the contact / speaking inquiry form. This may include:

  • Name, company, email address and phone number
  • Event details such as date, location, audience size, event type and budget range
  • Whether you're interested in Rob individually or The Operators Collective
  • Any message or context you provide

We also collect limited technical information automatically (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages viewed) through standard server logs and any analytics our hosting providers run, used only to keep the site secure and understand aggregate usage.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your speaking, booking or partnership inquiry
  • To send follow-up information about availability, fees and logistics
  • To operate, secure and improve the website
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. How we share information

We share information only with:

  • Rob's team and The Operators Collective staff who handle bookings
  • Service providers that help us run the site and deliver email (e.g. hosting, email delivery)
  • Authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights and safety

5. Data retention

Inquiry information is kept for as long as needed to respond to and service your request, and afterwards for a reasonable period for record-keeping, legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email ari@theoperatorscollective.com.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site may use a small number of cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the site and to measure aggregate, anonymised usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. External links

This site links to other properties associated with Rob (such as his book store, podcast, apparel, cannabis brand, memorabilia and The Operators Collective). Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information submitted through the site. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
