Preparing to Never Come Home
When Rob O'Neill left on the mission to get bin Laden, he knew in his heart he wouldn't be coming home. It was sad, but he wasn't afraid. His sacrifice would be for the greatest cause, and he tried to convey that message in good-bye letters he left for his family. As usual, he "checks in" with his father before leaving on the mission. It's not until his father hung up the phone and thought about the tone of his son’s voice that he began to realize he may have just spoken to his son for the last time.
